Our Story
Complex Accounting & Tax Solutions began in 2004 as a dedicated tax advisory and preparation firm. As our clients’ needs grew, we expanded into bookkeeping and payroll to provide year‑round financial support. In 2018, we strengthened our commitment to mission‑driven organizations by adding nonprofit accounting and CNAP‑level expertise. By 2021, we introduced QuickBooks Pro and Payroll Advisory services, helping clients streamline their systems with modern, efficient financial workflows.
Today, we operate as a full‑service financial operations partner for small businesses and nonprofits, combining accuracy, strategy, and hands‑on partnership to support long‑term growth.

My journey into accounting began at DePaul University of Chicago, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Accounting and discovered how much clarity and confidence the right financial systems can bring to people. I later earned my MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management, deepening my understanding of leadership, strategy, and organizational growth.
Over the years, I’ve worked in nearly every role the accounting world has to offer — accounts payable, accounts receivable, staff accountant, property accountant, accounting manager, financial controller, tax accountant, and more. I’ve seen the day-to-day challenges, the operational gaps, and the strategic decisions that shape an organization’s financial health.
I also served as a Human Resource Manager, which gave me a deeper understanding of the people behind the numbers — payroll, compliance, employee relations, and the systems that support healthy workplaces. That experience taught me that strong financial systems don’t just support organizations; they support people.
Those experiences shaped the moment I realized something important: business owners and nonprofit leaders deserve a partner who can make the complex feel simple — and who genuinely cares about their success. That realization led me to earn advanced credentials, including CNAP and CMA, and ultimately to build Complex Accounting & Tax Solutions — a firm grounded in accuracy, integrity, and partnership.
Today, I bring together technical expertise, real-world experience, and a deep commitment to helping organizations thrive with clarity and confidence.
